…for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop and Fusion Card Challenge.
I’m sharing a set from the SU! Annual Catalog, Young at Heart. And, I can see it being used for several girlfriend occasions. Also, this cute set can be purchased from my online store.
It’s time again to participate in Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. (For the Girls/Ladies) And,I hope you visit my team members blogs’ posted below. Also, I played along with the Fusion Card Challenge.(Sketch)
I started this card with 11 x 4 1/4 inches of Purple Posy cardstock, scored at 5 1/2 inches. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere a 5 3/8 x 3 3/4 inches layer of Best Dressed DSP, (used here and here), which had been cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies. Next, I used the same die set and cut three 2 1/2 x 1 inches stitched rectangles from the Best Dressed DSP. (for later).
Following, I stamped the image and sentiment from Young at Heart with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Then, I used the Stitched So Sweetly 4 x 3 rectangle to cut it out. Moving forward, I stamped the same image onto three different patterns of Best Dressed DSP. Afterwards, I used my Paper Snips to cut clothing pieces from the DSP and adhered them to the main image with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (Paper-Piecing) Thus, I colored the remaining parts of the image with Stampin’ Blends-Daffodil Delight, Lovely Lipstick, Purple Posy, Gray Granite, Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, and Flirty Flamingo Combos.
Then, I cut each of the smaller rectangles in half , used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered them to show behind the stamped layer. Next, I wrapped a layer of Purple Tricolor Ribbon around the card. Afterwards, I used Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere the stamped image to the card. Finally, I added a bow and three 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots to the card front.
To complete the inside of the card, I used SNAIL adhesive and added 5 3/8 x 3 3/4 inches of Best Dressed DSP. Then, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped a sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock. Next, I cut it out with a 4 x 3 inches rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Thus, I used SNAIL adhesive and adhered this layer to the DSP. Finally, I added three of the Faceted Dots to the layer.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the Young at Heart stamp set. And, please visit the blogs of my team members, seen listed below.
