The Meant to Be stamp set can be used for other events besides Valentine’s Day. It can be found in the new Occasions catalog and is available till June 3rd.
To begin, I cut an 8 ½ X 11-inch piece of Petal Pink CS in half. I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to score the cardstock at 4 ½ inches. Then, I embossed the other layer of Petal Pink Cardstock using the Tufted Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front using SNAIL adhesive.
Using Large Letters Framelits, I cut out letters L, V and E using Shimmery White cardstock. Using the Be Mind Framelits, I cut out the decorative heart using Shimmery White CS. I lined up the pieces to spell the word “LOVE”. (since it’s for Valentine’s Day, otherwise use any letters you’d like) Afterwards, I adhered the heart to the card front using a Fine Tip Glue Pen. I adhered the letters with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.
Next, I cut 7 inches of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and wrapped it around the card front. I used Scotch tape to secure the ribbon ends on back of card layer. To follow, I by stamped the sentiment (Love our life Together) from the Meant to Be stamp set with Basic Grey ink. Afterwards, I stamped a small heart from the same set over the sentiment using Petal Pink Ink, after stamping off twice.
Next, I placed the 1 3/8 circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies around the sentiment and cut it out using the Big Shot. I added a hole at top of the circle, threaded the ribbon thru it and tied to the other layer of ribbon. Afterwards, I stamped the sentiment “Happy Valentine’s Day” from the Meant to Be stamp set with Basic Gray ink onto the center of Shimmery White CS. I stamped the small heart from the Meant to Be stamp set using Petal Pink Ink over the sentiment, after stamping off twice. Finally, I adhered the layer to card base using SNAIL adhesive.
Inside, I stamped the heart with Petal Pink Ink and the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment with Basic Gray Ink.
