Today, I’m using Trimming the Town Suite for the SUOC 256 Sketch Challenge.
Also, I am using Trimming the Town Suite to make a cute Christmas card. And, I really enjoyed playing with the little houses and trees. Too, the SUOC 256 Sketch Challenge provides us with two different card layouts to use. Thus, I’m using the second layout. Furthermore, this suite can be found in the new SU! 2020 Holiday/Mini Catalog and my online store.
Recipe to make a Trimming the Town Suite card-
First, I made a card base from Pool Party cardstock. Then, I tied two ribbons around a layer of Trimming the Town Suite DSP. Next, I made a rectangle from Whisper White cardstock and matted it on a coordinating piece of the DSP. Thus, the matted layer was added to the card front.
Then, I cut the houses, trees and wreaths out using the coordinating dies. Afterwards, I mounted them to the Whisper White cardstock layer. Next, I added Red Rhinestones to the center of each wreath. Finally, I used my Paper Snips and cut a sentiment from Trimming the Town Suite DSP and added it to the card.
For the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment with Real Red ink onto a Whisper White layer. Finally, I adhered an extra house, tree and wreath in the right hand lower corner of the card.
I hope you enjoy playing with Trimming the Town Suite!
