To A Wild Rose Bundle for the Cardz 4 Galz DT and TGIF Challenge.
Today, I am sharing set found in the SU! Annual Catalog, To A Wild Rose Bundle. You may remember me sharing this bundle back here. Also,I participated with the Dream Team (Black & Pink card) and a challenge while making this card.(#TGIFC260-bellyband)
To start the card, I made a base using 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches of Basic Black cardstock, scored at 2 1/8 inches and 6 3/8 inches. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches of Melon Mambo cardstock on both sides of the card. Next, I used the same adhesive to adhere 1 1/2 x 5 inches of DSP from the Botanical Prints Product Medley to the Melon Mambo layer.
Next, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the large outlined image, leaves and a sentiment from the bundle onto Whisper White cardstock. Then, using Melon Mambo and Lovely Lipstick inks, I completed stamping the rose. Afterwards, I used Old Olive ink to fill the stamped leaves. Moving along, I used the 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches Stitched Nested Label die to cut the image and sentiment out. Also, I cut the 4 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches mat from Basic Black cardstock. Thus, I adhered the two layers together with SNAIL adhesive. To finish this layer, I added Wink of Stella and three Rhinestones.
To make the belly band, I used the To A Wild Rose Bundle Dies and cut two borders out of Basic Black cardstock. Next, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered them to 9 x 1 1/2 inches of Vellum cardstock. Then, I wrapped the vellum around the card and attached to the center of the card using Tear & Tape Adhesive. (It helps to crimp the vellum band on both sides of the card) Afterwards, using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the stamped image to the belly band. (And, it helps to put the dimensionals on first)
To finish, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp a sentiment onto 4 x 5 1/4 inches of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere a 4 x 1 1/2 inches strip of matching DSP to the lower part of the layer. Finally, the layer was adhered to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this card. The To A Wild Rose Bundle can be found in my online store.
