for Festive Friday, #FF0054…
Today, I am sharing a card made with the Timeless Tulips Bundle, which is found in the SU! Mini Occasions Catalog. And, the bundle contains the Timeless Tulips stamp set and Tulip Builder Punch. Also, the set will be available till June 2020 and can be purchased from my online store.
And, I decided to participate in the Festive Friday Challenge, #FF0054. My three choices for this card were flowers, green and stitching.
To begin this card, I made a card base with 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches of Pool Party cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then, I cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inches layer of Crushed Curry cardstock and used SNAIL adhesive to adhere to a 5 x 3 3/4 inches layer of So Very Vellum Specialty DSP (Pool Party) . Too, I added adhesive to the ridges of the vellum to prevent being seen. Moving along, I wrapped Old Olive Twill Ribbon, from the Botanical Prints Product Medley, around the two top layers and tied a bow at the end. (You may remember me talking about the Botanical Prints Product Medley here). Afterwards, I adhered the matted layer to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Moving forward, I cut a 2 1/2 inches circle from Whisper White cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Dies. Then, I made a coordinating scalloped mat from Pool Party cardstock using the Layering Circles Dies. Next, I adhered these two layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Afterwards, I stamped a small flower from the Timeless Tulips Bundle with Crushed Curry and Old Olive inks onto the matted layer. Also, I repeated this step several times onto Whisper White cardstock and cut with my Paper Snips Scissors. Too, I stamped several of the larger Tulips the same way and cut with the Tulip Builder Punch. Then, I added three of the stamped small flowers/stems around the stamped Tulip with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Moving forward, I adhered the decorated circle to the card layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then, I used Old Olive ink and stamped a sentiment from the Timeless Tulips Bundle onto a 2 x 1 inch Whisper White oval, which had been cut with the Layering Ovals. Afterwards, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the oval to the lower part of the card.
For the inside of the card, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to add pre-cut Tulips/stems to a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Finally, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the layer to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoy using the Timeless Tulip Bundle!
