And, our topic is “for the girls/ladies”, so I chose the Wrapped Bouquet set for this project. Furthermore, the set consists of the Wrapped Bouquet stamps and coordinating Wrapped Flowers Dies. Too, the set is found in the SU! Mini January-June catalog and my online store. Also, I used some of the “new” and “old” when making this card, which was lots of fun. If you’d like to see previous team’s blog hops, visit here and here.
First, I made a card base with Crushed Curry cardstock. Then, I cut three scalloped layers of Pattern Play 12 x 12 cardstock with the Scalloped Contours dies. (And, both of these items will be in the new catalog.) Afterwards, I arranged the layers and adhered them to the card.
Next, I stamped the largest floral image and tag from the Wrapped Bouquet set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Afterwards, I colored the image with several different Stampin Blends Combos-Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Smokey Slate. Then, I added highlights with the Wink of Stella brush. Thus, I cut the images out with the coordinating dies.
Then, I adhered a strip of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the image. Next, I threaded Black/White Twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack thru the tag and around the Gingham Ribbon. Afterwards, I adhered the image to the card front. Finally, I added three Elegant Faceted Gems to the card.
Afterwards, I used the Scalloped Contours dies and cut a layer of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Then, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp a sentiment and floral image on this layer. As before, I used the Stampin’ Blends Combos to color the images- Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Smokey Slate. Then, I added more highlights with the Wink of Stella brush. Finally, I adhered it to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the Wrapped Bouquet set. As previously mentioned, it will be available till the end of June while supplies last.
