for Amy’s Inkin Krew Blog Hop and Stampin’-Or Not-On Tuesday…
I’m sharing the Tags In Bloom Stamp set today, which is found in the 2nd SAB catalog. Itt can be yours with a $100 purchase and is available till March 31st while supplies last. Here it is in my online store. Too, the set coordinates with the Label Me Fancy Punch and Label Me Lovely Punch, which can be found in the Mini Catalog. And, I decided to play along with Amy’s Inkin Krew Blog Hop and Try Stampin’-Or Not-On Tuesday Challenge while making this card.
I began making this card with a 4 1/4 x 11 inches sheet of Purple Posy cardstock, scored at 5 1/2 inches. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Best Dressed 6 x 6 DSP. ( You may remember me sharing more about this DSP here.) Next, I made a banner using 3 x 4 1/2 inches of the So Very Vellum Specialty DSP. And, I applied SNAIL adhesive to the middle of the vellum piece to secure to the card front.
Afterwards, I adhered a 4 1/4 x 1/2 inches strip of Purple Posy cardstock to the front of the card using SNAIL adhesive. Then, I stamped the two large images, four flowers and four leaves from the Tags in Bloom stamp set with Tuxedo Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock. And, I adhered the two large images together with SNAIL adhesive. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with Gorgeous Grape ink onto the center of the large image. And, I colored the flowers and leaves using Stampin’ Blends Combos-Old Olive, Purple Posy and Daffodil Delight. To complete the images, I added Wink of Stella around the flowers. To finish, I cut the colored images out using my Paper Snips.
Next, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the large colored image and flower to the front of the card. And, I adhered two leaves to the card front using SNAIL adhesive. To complete the front, I randomly added three Basic Pearl Jewels.
Afterwards, I used SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere flowers and leaves to the lower corner of 4 x 5 1/4 inches of Whisper White cardstock. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card using SNAIL adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my card made with Tags in Bloom stamp set. Also, I hope you enjoy visiting all the blogs featured in Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop.
