I used the SU! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle to make a birthday card for the SUO Challenge: Sweet Thing. (#SUOC271)
Today, I’m sharing a card made with the SU! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle, which is found in the Jan-June Mini Catalog and my online store. And, the bundle is showing on the Last Chance Products Sale list, which means it will not be sold as a bundle (10% discounted price) in the next catalog. So, this would be a great time to purchase it. Personally, I’ve enjoyed using this bundle for different aged birthday celebrations and will be keeping it. (You can see another card made with the SU! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle here.)
First, I used Blackberry Bliss cardstock to make a base for the card. Then, I added a layer of Ice Cream Corner DSP over it. Next, I adhered two coordinating pieces of the DSP over it.
Second, I stamped two popsicle images from the SU! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle with Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive inks onto Basic White cardstock. Next, I used a Blending Brush to add Daffodil Delight ink to the center of the popsicles. Then, I used my Paper Snips and fussy-cut out the popsicles.
Third, I stamped the popsicle stick image with Cinnamon Cider and Terracotta Tile inks onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut out the image with the Layering Ovals Dies. Next, I adhered the popsicle image over the stick. Afterwards, I used the same dies to cut a mat from Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
Fourth, I stamped a sentiment with Blackberry Bliss ink onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut out the sentiment and added it to the card front. Afterwards, I added Champagne Rhinestones and a Terracotta Tile bow (made with the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack) to the front of the card.
Completing the inside of the card-
Then, I stamped a sentiment with Blackberry Bliss ink onto Basic White cardstock. Next, I used Cinnamon Cider and Terracotta Tiles inks to stamp the popsicle stick image in the right bottom corner of the layer. Afterwards, I added the popsicle layer over the stamped image. Thus, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card. Finally, I added three Champagne Rhinestones around the image.
As you can see, the SU! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle is a fun set to use. And, I intend to use it for different aged birthday celebrations. Enjoy!
