I used the SU! Soar Confidently stamp set to make a card for my husband.
And, the SU! Soar Confidently stamp set can be found in the Mini January-June Catalog and my online store. The seven cling stamps/set contains images and sentiments to be used for multiple manly occasions. And, with the fine artwork put into the images, they can stand alone on any creative item.
To begin, I made a card base using Pacific Point cardstock. Then, I cut 1/2 of the front flap off of the card. (You may recall me doing similar cards here, here, here and here.) Afterwards, I adhered a layer of the Brights 6 x 6 inches DSP (Pacific Point) to the shortened layer.
Next, I made a template by cutting a cloud shape from Basic White cardstock. (Or you could use any floral die shape that has rounded edges) Then, I used a Blending Brush with the template and sponged a light coat of Seaside Spray ink onto Basic White cardstock.
Afterwards, I used the Layering Ovals Dies to cut a layer from the inked Basic White cardstock. Also, I used the same die set to cut a mat from Pacific Point cardstock. Afterwards, I used Pacific Point ink and stamped the airplane image from the SU! Soar Confidently set onto the inked oval. Too, I adhered the upper half of the matted image to the short side of the card.
Then, I stamped a sentiment from the set with Pacific Point ink onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. (Stamp the sentiment on the right lower corner of this layer so to visualize it after closing the card) Finally, I added the layer to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing me use the SU! Soar Confidently stamp set to make a card for a male. As a reminder, the set will be available till June 30th or while supplies last.
