I used the Spiral Dye Background stamp to make a swap card suitable for a male.
Too, you may remember me mentioning a recent swap I was in and can read more about it here. Also, using the Spiral Dye Background stamp with the Stamparatus aided me making multiples of this card. Plus, this stamp is a great one to use for multiple occasions just by using different color combinations. As you can see, I chose to use Night of Navy and Soft Succulent inks for a male card. Furthermore, the Spiral Dye Background stamp can be found in the current SU! catalog or my online store.

How to make the card with the Spiral Dye Background stamp-
First, I made a card base with Night of Navy cardstock. Then, I stamped the Spiral Dye Background stamp with Night of Navy ink onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. (And, I marked where I had placed this layer since this step was going to be repeated) Next, I turned this layer 180 degrees and stamped the same image with Soft Succulent ink. Thus, I adhered the layer to the front of the card.
Next, I used Soft Succulent ink and stamped (the large part) a sentiment from the Biggest Wish set onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I used Night of Navy ink to stamp the remainder of the sentiment over the large word. Afterwards, I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out the sentiment. Too, I used the same dies to cut a coordinating mat from Night of Navy cardstock. Thus, I adhered this layer to the card front.
Then, I used the Biggest Wish stamp set with Night of Navy ink to stamp a large word onto Basic White cardstock. Afterwards, I adhered this layer to the inside of the card.
I really enjoyed playing with the Spiral Dye Background stamp and plan on using it again. Please don’t forget to check out my list of retired items for sale. The items are selling quickly!
