So today, I used the Sparkle of the Season Bundle to make a holiday card.
And, the Sparkle of the Season Bundle is a great set to use for multiple holiday events-Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween. So, I made my first Thanksgiving card using this set. (You can see previous Thanksgiving cards here and here.) Also, I participated in a swap so made several of these cards. Let me tell you what I did…
First, I made a card base with Merry Merlot cardstock. Next, I added a layer of Cinnamon Cider cardstock to the base. Then, I added a strip made with Beauty of the Earth DSP which was matted onto Merry Merlot cardstock. Afterwards, I used Merry Merlot ink and stamped a sentiment from the Sparkle of the Season Bundle in the lower corner.
Second, I used multiple colors of inks and cardstock to make leaves, pumpkins and wreaths. (Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive) And, I even added a few pumpkins and leaves cut from Gold Foil with the dies from the bundle. Then, I layered two wreaths together and added the die cuts around the wreath. Afterwards, I made a bow from Linen Thread and adhered it to the wreath.
Third, I used Merry Merlot ink and stamped a sentiment from the Bundle onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. Then, I stamped a few leaves with Mossy Meadow ink. Afterwards, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed my holiday card with the Sparkle of the Season Bundle. It’s available till January 3rd, 2022 while supplies last. And, it’s found in the latest SU! Mini Holiday Catalog and my online store. Too, if you add on the Linen Thread or Stampin’ Dimensionals to your cart, you’ll be able to select a free $50 SAB item. (SAB catalog can be seen here.)
