Today, I am sharing the So Many Stars Bundle with you, which was used during my recent Holiday Coffee & Cards class. This is a new bundle from Stampin’ Up! and can be found in the Holiday Catalog. And, I hope you are enjoying the Holiday Catalog, which was released on September 4th. As a reminder, the Designer Series Paper sale is currently going on till September 30th and includes select papers.
Moving along, I started this card with a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch piece of Night of Navy Cardstock, which was scored at 4 1/4 inches. Next, I wrapped a 7-inch strip of the new Classic Weave Ribbon around a 3 1/2 x 4 1/4-inch piece of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designers Series Paper. Then, I tied a bow to one side of the ribbon border. Afterwards, I adhered the DSP layer to the center of the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Next, I cut a 2 7/8- inch circle out of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Dies. Then, I embossed the circle using the new Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder. Afterwards, I adhered the circle to the center of the DSP with SNAIL adhesive.
Then, using the Stitched Stars Dies from the So Many Stars Bundle, I cut a 2 5/8-inch and coordinating 2-inch stars from a Copper Foil Sheet. Next, I adhered the die cut stars together with Mini Glue Dots. Afterwards, I adhered the stacked stars to the center of the embossed circle with SNAIL adhesive.
Moving along, I stamped a large star image from the So Many Stars stamp set with Delicata Metallic Celestial Copper ink onto a 5 1/4 x 4-inch layer of Very Vanilla cardstock. Next, I stamped smaller stars from the So Many Stars stamp set with Night of Navy ink over the Copper stamped star. Then, I stamped a sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set with Night of Navy ink onto the lower corner of the Very Vanilla layer. Finally, I adhered this layer to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
