I made a card using the SU! Sand & Sea Suite while participating in the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (TSOT 489/Sketch) and Time Out Challenges (#179/You).
And, the Sand & Sea Suite contains 23 stamps, 6 dies, embossing folder, DSP, specialty paper and two coordinating embellishments. Also, I think it’s one of the prettiest suites in the new SU! January-June 2021 catalog. Too, it coordinates with SU! colors of Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Sahara Sand and Seaside Spray (which I last used here).
Recipe for card made with the Sand & Sea Suite-
First, I made a card base with Seaside Spray cardstock. Then, I cut a layer of Sand & Sea DSP to place on the card front. Next, I colored a strip of Fine Art Ribbon with my Seaside Spray Combo Blends. Afterwards, I wrapped it around the DSP layer and adhered to the card front.
Second, I cut a circle out of coordinating DSP and added it to the card. Then, I embossed a layer of Pearlescent Specialty Paper with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. After matting it on Seaside Spray cardstock, I adhered it to the front of the card.
Third, I stamped a sentiment from the Sand & Sea Suite with Seaside Spray ink onto Shimmer White cardstock. Then, I cut out the sentiment using the 1 1/2-inches circle punch. Next, I cut out a layer of Seaside Spray cardstock using the 2-inches circle punch. Afterwards, I adhered them together and onto the card.
Fourth, I added three Opal Rounds randomly to the card front.
Finally, I used Seaside Spray ink and stamped a sentiment onto a layer of Shimmer White cardstock. Then, I fussy-cut three different seashells from the DSP. Afterwards, I adhered them to the layer and onto the inside of the card.
