I made a birthday card using the SAB Counting Sheep set.
And, by now, I hope you’ve received your copy of the new catalogs and have viewed the SAB Counting Sheep set. (If not, you can access the new catalogs on the right side of my page here and here.) Too, the set is free with a $50 purchase and has a coordinating set of Sheep dies (Also, free with a $50 purchase) Also, these items will be available through my online store during SAB only till September 30th. As you may remember, SU! is having two shorter SAB times this year. You can see some of the Sale-A-Bration sets from earlier this year here and here.
First, I made a card base with Early Espresso cardstock. Then, I embossed a layer of Soft Suede cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. Thus, I adhered the embossed layer to the card. Next, I added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock to the card. And, I used Early Espresso ink with the SAB Counting Sheep set and stamped a sentiment on it.
Second, I used the Early Espresso ink and stamped (3) sheep onto a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I used the coordinating dies and cut them out. Next, I used my Stampin’ Blends Combos to add color to the sheep (Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Soft Suede).
Third, I used the same dies and cut a fence from Early Espresso cardstock and (2) clouds from Balmy Blue cardstock. Next, I adhered the clouds and fence to the Very Vanilla cardstock layer. Then, I added the sheep to the layer. Finally, I added (2) Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots (Copper) on both sides of the fence.
For the Inside of the card made with the SAB Counting Sheep-
Fourth, I used Early Espresso ink and stamped a sentiment from the SAB Counting Sheep set onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Then, I adhered one of the sheep to the layer. Afterwards, I added the layer to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed viewing my card made with the SAB Counting Sheep set. You know, it’s a keeper as the set can be used for all ages.
