The Christmas Countdown has officially started at our house. So, I wanted to show how to make a Quick Gift with Cup of Christmas set. I mentioned more about this set on a previous post. Also, this set can be found in the Holiday Catalog and purchased thru my online store.
First, I ordered my non-Stampin’ Up! supplies from Amazon-Hot Chocolate Packets, Mini Marshmallows, Candy Canes and Wooden Spoons. Then, I placed all the items in an Acetate Card Box measuring 6 X 4 1/2 X 1 1/4 inches, which is a larger size than the one SU! carries. (This was purchased years ago at ClearBags)
Then, I made a Belly Band using a 12 x 1 inch strip of Let It Snow Specialty DSP. Next, I adhered a Pearlized Doily in the center of the box using SNAIL adhesive. Also, I tied a strip of Cherry Cobbler Striped Ribbon around the box and tied into a bow.
Next, I used the Cup of Cheer Dies and cut a mug out of Coastal Cabana cardstock, a striped overlay out of Real Red Cardstock, leaves from Shaded Spruce cardstock and a tag out of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Cup of Christmas set with Real Red ink onto the tag.
Afterwards, I adhered the mug pieces and leaves together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Also, I tied the tag to the cup handle with Baker’s Twine. Next, I adhered the completed mug to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish, I added 3 Red Rhinestones to the cup.
To end, I hope this gives you ideas to make a Quick Gift with Cup of Christmas set. I made several versions using DSP and Ribbon scraps.
