How I combined the May Paper Pumpkin with Sunshine Share PDF…
Since the May Paper Pumpkin and Sunshine Share PDF (more about it here) were released around the same time, I decided to combine them together. And, I worked on them during Sara’s recent Day of Service Craft Party on Facebook. Also, if you missed the event, the video is still on Facebook for you to view here. Too, the Sunshine Share PDF is still available here.
To start, I used the provided instruction sheet with Follow your Art DSP to make cards. And, I chose the following cardstock colors to make my card bases: Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Pacific Point, Whisper White. Next, I used SNAIL adhesive to mount some DSP layers to Gold or Champagne Foils. Afterwards. I adhered the DSP to the card fronts with SNAIL adhesive. Also, the colorful May Paper Pumpkin box had arrived the day before. So, I chose to use its items to make my cards, too.
Second, I used the Layering Circles and Squares, Stitched Shapes and Rectangles Dies to cut out wordage from the Sunshine Share PDF. Then, I used the coordinating die to make mats for some of the sentiment pieces. And, colored Twine and asterisk-like embellishments (from Paper Pumpkin kit) were added to the card fronts. I also chose to leave the inside of the card blank.
Finally, I was able to make 15 cards during the Day of Service Craft Party using the May Paper Pumpkin with Sunshine PDF. And, I plan on mailing them to family and friends next week.
Please don’t forget my DSP and Ribbon Shares sign-up. I’m taking sign-ups till Sunday, May 31th.
