Today, I’m using the SAB Paper Blooms DSP with a One Sheet Wonder template to make 6 cards.
The SAB Paper Blooms DSP adds a cheery look to any card. Thus, it’s a free item (with a $50 order) from the Sale-A-Bration catalog till February 28th. (Here’s more about SAB) Also, I needed several cards, so the OSW (One Sheet Wonder) template came to mind. Have you heard of it? It’s where several cards are made from one piece of stamped cardstock or DSP. In addition, I’ve added a 6 x 6 inches template with measurements for you to view. So, check out Pinterest for more sizes. Also, I’m using one template found on Pinterest and done by Nicole. (Note, the Paper Blooms DSP comes in 12 x 12″ size and I opted to use a 6 X 6″ piece to make my template)
Paper Blooms DSP OSW Template Measurements-
A=3 x 2 inches
B=3 x 3 inches
C=1 x 1 inches (cut three)
D=1 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches
E=1 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches
F=1 1/2 x 1 inches (cut four)
G=3 x 1 3/4 inches
So, I used several different colors of cardstock that coordinated with the Paper Blooms DSP to make my card bases-Night of Navy, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Soft Sea Foam. Additionally, I stamped the sentiments with Night of Navy ink, Pretty Perennials (found in the Jan-June Mini catalog) and Punch Party (SAB Hostess set) stamp sets.
Basically, using the A piece, I made a tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper. After adding Polka-Dot Tulle Ribbon and Pastel Pearls, I adhered it to the card front. Then, I matted a sentiment and placed it in the corner of the card front. For the inside, I adhered parts of a flower that had been cut from the Paper Blooms DSP.
Secondly, I stamped a sentiment onto Soft Sea Foam cardstock and cut it with the Timeless Label Punch. Then, I mounted the label to the matted B piece. Also, I added two Opal Rounds to the label. Afterwards, I embossed a layer of Petal Pink cardstock with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder. After tying some Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon (Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack) around it, I adhered it to the card. Finally, the matted label pieces were added. Also, I completed the inside like the first shown card.
Thirdly, I matted the three C pieces onto Night of Navy cardstock. Then, I randomly stamped flowers from the Pretty Perennials set with Versamark ink onto a layer of Rococo Rose cardstock. Also, I used Night of Navy ink with the same set to stamp a sentiment onto the layer. Thus, I stamped the remainder of the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock and cut with the Double Oval Punch. After tying a layer of Night of Navy Ribbon (found in the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack) around the layer, I adhered it to the card. Finally, I stamped a sentiment using the Punch Party set, colored it with the Rococo Rose Blends Combo pack and added several pre-cut flowers to the inside Basic White cardstock layer.
More OSW Cards made with Paper Blooms DSP-
So, I stamped a sentiment from the Punch Party set directly onto the D piece. Then, I matted it twice. Thus, I added some pre-cut flowers to a coordinating layer of DSP and adhered it to the card. Afterwards, I added three Opal Rounds to the pre-cut flowers. Also, I added the matted sentiment to the card. For the inside, I added more pre-cut flowers and stamped a sentiment from the Punch Party set.
Moreover, I combined the E and G pieces for the next card. Firstly, I embossed a layer of Basic White cardstock with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Then, I colored a strip of Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon with the Soft Seafoam Combo Blends. After wrapping it around the embossed layer, I adhered it to the card. Thus, I adhered the matted DSP to the card. Afterwards, I stamped a sentiment from the Punch Party set with Night of Navy ink and a border with Soft Seafoam Ink. And, I cut it out with the Rectangular Postage stamp punch. Finally, I colored three Basic Pearls with the Soft Seafoam Combo Blends and added below the sentiment. Also, the inside of this card is similar to the previous one.
Finally, I matted the four F pieces to a Seaside Spray rectangle. Then, I added three Basic Pearls that were colored with the Seaside Spray Combo Blends. Afterwards, I embossed a layer of Night of Navy cardstock with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder and added it to the card. Thus, I adhered the matted layer to the embossed piece. Also, I cut my sentiment and mat out with the Circle Punches and added them to the card front. Furthermore, I added precut flowers to a layer of Basic White cardstock to complete the inside of the card.
