I played with the SU! Painted Christmas Suite Collection to make another holiday card.
I’ve been wanting to play with the Painted Christmas Suite Collection as it’s full of pretty items. Included in the collection are two bundles (Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember Bundle), Gold Holly Leaves, Cherry Cobbler/Gold Metallic Ribbon and Painted Christmas DSP. Too, it uses several different colors in the pretty DSP: Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Evening Evergreen, Garden Green, Soft Succulent and Early Espresso. Also, the collection can be found in the SU! Mini Holiday Catalog (available till January 3rd and supplies last) and my online store.
I began this card by making a base with Evening Evergreen cardstock. Then, I cut out the two largest images from Evening Evergreen cardstock (found in the Christmas To Remember Bundle). Afterwards, I overlapped the two images and adhered to the front of the card.
Next, I used Evening Evergreen ink and stamped a sentiment from the Painted Christmas Suite Collection onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut out the sentiment with a die found in the Christmas Season Bundle. Too, I used the largest die in this bundle and cut out an image from Evening Evergreen cardstock. And, I used a smaller die from the same bundle to cut out an image from Gold Foil cardstock. Next, I adhered the Gold Foil layer behind the sentiment. Furthermore, I cut the Evening Evergreen layer into two pieces and adhered behind this layer. Thus, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered this layer to the front of the card.
Then, I used various dies from the Painted Christmas Suite Collection and cut out floral, leaves and pinecones from Gold Foil and Crumb Cake/Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Afterwards, I adhered the die cuts around the sentiment. Finally, I randomly added three Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Jewels to the card front.
For the inside of the card-
Moving along, I stamped a sentiment from the collection with Evening Evergreen ink onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. Then, I used Cherry Cobbler ink and stamped an image from the collection onto the layer. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card.
