…for the Inkin’ Krew Ornate Garden Suite Facebook Live Event and SUO Challenge 247 (Embossing)
I’m here to share the Ornate Garden Suite #4 card with you. And, my inspiration for this card came from SUO Challenges-Embossing. Also, the Ornate Garden Suite will be in the next SU! Annual Catalog and can be found in my online store.
Here’s the Ornate Garden Suite #4 card-
To begin, I made a card base from 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches of Whisper White Thick cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then, using the Ornate Floral 3D Folder, I embossed a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Thus, this was adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue Adhesive.
Then, I used the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and made two different strips measuring 1 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches and 1 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. (similar here) Thus, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue Adhesive, laid them slightly overlapping each other and adhered to the card front.
Next, using the Stitched Shapes dies, I cut a 2 1/2-inches circle from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Also, I cut a coordinating scalloped mat from Mint Macaron cardstock with the Layering Circles dies. Then, I used Terracotta Tile ink and stamped a sentiment from the Ornate Thanks stamp set onto the circle. Also, I used the small floral image from the Ornate Style stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp on the same circle. Afterwards, I used Stampin Blends and Wink of Stella to color the images-Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron and Old Olive Combos. After adhering the circle and scalloped mat together with SNAIL adhesive, I glued the layer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Afterwards, I added a bow made from ribbon found in the Ornate Garden Ribbon Pack and three Gilded Gems to the card front.
Finally, to complete the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Ornate Thanks set with Terracotta Tile ink onto 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I made two pendants (as before) and adhered them to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
I enjoyed sharing my Ornate Garden Suite #4 card with you. Stay tuned for more…
