Today, I’m showing how to make note cards with Floral Essence stamp set. The set is actually a bundle including the Perennial Flower Punch. Both items can be found in my online store.
Also, I played along in the Fusion Challenge this week.
I began making the card by taking a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch piece of Basic Gray cardstock and scoring it at 4 1/4 inches. Next, I cut a 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper (Petal Pink Polka-Dots). Then, I embossed this layer with the Tufted Embossing Folder. Afterwards, I adhered the layer to the front of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
Next, I stamped a sentiment,” Just A Note”, from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set with Basic Gray ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I cut around the sentiment with the 1 5/8 x 2 3/4 inch oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. Then, I cut a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch scalloped border of Basic Gray cardstock using the Layering Ovals Framelits. Afterwards, I secured these two layers together and to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Then, I stamped the flower from the Floral Essence stamp set with Basic Gray ink onto Petal Pink cardstock six times. Using the Perennial Flower Punch, I cut the flowers from the Petal Pink cardstock. Next, I adhered two floral pieces together with SNAIL adhesive. Then, I used my bone folder over the flowers and rolled the edges. Afterwards, I added a Silver Clear Faceted Gem to the centers of the Floral Essence flowers and adhered them around the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Moving along, I stamped the floral images from the Floral Essence stamp set with Petal Pink ink onto a 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of Whisper White cardstock. Finally, I secured this layer inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
