Massive Thanks

Leslie Larkin · July 16, 2020 · 4 Comments

Massive Thanks for Cardz 4 Galz Design Team, Fab Friday and Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.

I’m using the Massive Thanks stamp set today to make a simple and quick card thank-you card.  Too, this set can be found in the SU! 2020 Annual Catalog.   Also, it can be found in my online store  here.

A card made with the SU! Massive Thanks set for Cardz 4 Galz Design Team, Fab Friday (FabFri193) and Hand Stamped Sentiments (HSSIC343) Challenge.

The Cardz 4 Gals challenge was to make a card with seashells.  And, I chose to make a card showing the ocean where one would find them.

For the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge, we were to use this picture for inspiration.  (HSSIC343)

And, the Fab Friday challenge was to use this sketch.  (FabFrid193)

Just a reminder, I’m still taking sign-ups for the 2020 Mini/Holiday Catalog Product Shares.  Details can be found here.  And, there are a limited number of open slots.

Recipe-

I began this card with a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches piece of Just Jade cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches.  Then, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 inch layer of Whale of A Time DSP on the card front.

Next, I cut another (coordinating) piece of the Whale of A Time DSP to 4 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches.  Then, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive and  adhered it to a 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches layer of Just Jade cardstock.   Next, I used the scalloped die from the Budding Blooms die set and cut a 4 1/2 x 1 inch layer of Bumblebee cardstock.  Thus, I used a Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the border to the layers.  Afterwards, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the matted layer on the left side of the card.

Then, I cut another (coordinating) layer of Whale of a Time DSP to 1 x 3 inches.  Next, I used the Massive Thanks set with Calypso Coral ink and stamped a sentiment onto this layer. Afterwards, I used the Banner Triple Punch on one end of the strip.  Thus, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layer to the card.

Afterwards, I added three Rhinestones to the card front.

On the inside of the card, I cut a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock.  Then, I used Stampin’ Seal and adhered a 1 x 5 1/4 inches border to the lower part of the layer.  Finally, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to mount the layer on the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed my quick card made with the Massive Thanks stamp set.

I think this is the first time I have seen this pattern in this dsp. Love how you used the 2 patterns to make your card. Thanks for playing along with us at HSS.
