Today, I’m using the Loyal & True stamp set with Brushos to make a card that will be sent to the Soldiers’ Angels organization. This volunteer organization hosts several different ways to provide support for soldiers and their families. I volunteer with the CPT team which sends cards to deployed soldiers, their families and veterans. The Loyal & True stamp set and Brushos will not be in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.
First, I made a card base with Night of Navy cardstock.
Second, I used the Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere a layer of watercolor paper that had been colored with Brusho Crystal Colors (Brilliant Red and Prussian Blue). I had previously wet the watercolor paper with the Stampin’ Spritzer and then sprinkled the watercolor ink crystals over it. (After the watercolor paper dried, I sealed it with Hairspray)
Third, I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Next, I cut it out with the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. I cut a coordinating layer out of Night of Navy cardstock with the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. Then, I adhered these layers together with SNAIL adhesive and adhered to the lower right corner of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fourth, I added Metallic Pearls below the sentiment.
Fifth, I stamped another sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock with Night of Navy ink. Then, I adhered this layer with SNAIL adhesive to the inside of the card.
