I’m using the Love of Leaves Bundle for the ModSquad Challenge and Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop.
Today, I’m sharing a card made with the Love of Leaves Bundle, which is found in the new SU! 2020 Holiday/Mini catalog and my online store. Also, the bundle contains the Love of Leaves stamp set and the (beautiful) Stitched Leaves Die. Too, I used some of the (gorgeous) Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP to make this card. And, I enjoy using the DSP to make leaves as seen here.
Recipe-
To begin, I made a card base from 11 x 4 1/4 inches of Early Espresso cardstock, scored at 5 1/2 inches. Then, I cut 5 1/4 x 4 inches of patterned paper from the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP. Next, I used the Dainty Diamonds folder and embossed a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches layer of Crumb Cake cardstock. Afterwards, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the layers together and mount on the card.
Next, I used the dies from the Love of Leaves Bundle (Stitched Leaves Dies) and cut several different leaves from these papers-Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP, Mint Macaron, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze cardstocks and Gold, Copper Foils. Afterwards, I created a collage with the leaves and secured them to the card with Stampin’ Seal adhesive.
Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Love of Leaves Bundle with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Thus, I cut it out using the 1 7/8 inch circle from the Stitched Shapes Die. Next, I used the Label Me Lovely Punch and cut out Early Espresso cardstock. Afterwards, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive to mount the two layers together. Also, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layer on the card front.
Afterwards, I tied a bow using two different ribbons-Gold 1 1/16-inch Ribbon (Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack) and Copper 1/8-inch Grosgrain Ribbon (Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack) And, I used a Mini Glue Dot to secure the bow to the card front.
Finally, I added three Gilded Gems to the card.
For the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment with Early Espresso ink onto 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Very Vanilla cardstock. Then, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered leaves to the corner of the layer. Afterwards, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the layer inside the card.
I really enjoyed playing with the Love of Leaves Bundle and Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP. I hope you do, too! Also, please don’t forget to visit the other blogs on this hop.
