Today, I am sharing a Christmas card made with the Lots of Cheer stamp set, which can be found in the SU! Annual Catalog. And, the stamp set can be found in my online store. Also, I decided to play along with the Case this Sketch Challenge #344.
First, I made a card base using 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches of Shaded Spruce cardstock, scored at 4 1/2 inches. Then, I adhered a 5 1/4 x 4 inches layer of Wrapped in Plaid DSP to the card base, using SNAIL adhesive. (Cherry Cobbler pattern) Next, using the Party Pattern Decorative Masks, I added White Embossing Paste to a 3 x 4 1/2 inches layer of Crumb Cake cardstock. After allowing the embossing paste to dry and using SNAIL adhesive, I adhered this layer to 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches of Shaded Spruce cardstock. Moving along, I adhered this layer to the card base with SNAIL adhesive.
Second, I stamped the wreath image found in the Lots of Cheer stamp set three times with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock. And, I colored the wreath and bow using Combo Stampin’ Blends-Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce. Then, I cut two wreaths out with Paper Snip Scissors and adhered them to each other with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, I cut just the bow from the third stamped wreath image and adhered it to the wreaths with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Afterwards, I used SNAIL adhesive and adhered the wreath, from the Lots of Cheer stamp set, to the card front.
Third, I masked part of a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set with tape and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Next, using the Stitched Nested Labels dies, I cut a 5/8 x 1 1/4 inch rectangle around the sentiment. Then, I adhered this layer to the wreath with Mini Glue Dots.
Fourth, I colored five Basic Pearl Jewels with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend and added to the front of the card.
Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Memories of Home stamp set (Holiday catalog) with Shaded Spruce ink onto 5 1/4 x 4 inches of Whisper White cardstock. Then, using Cherry Cobbler ink, I stamped the wreath images from the Lots of Cheer stamp onto the corners of the layer. Afterwards, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card using SNAIL adhesive.
In conclusion, I hope you enjoy playing with the Lots of Cheer stamp set!
