Today, I’d like to share a Holiday card made with the Let It Snow Suite. Oh, what fun I had decorating the snowman from the Let It Snow Suite. This set is in the Holiday Catalog, will be available till January 2nd and can be found in my online store. Also, I participated in two challenges while making this card: Tuesday Morning Sketch #525 and CAS Colours & Sketches #343.
Firstly, I made a card base using Pool Party cardstock cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Then, I scored the base at 4 1/2 inches. Next, I used the Layering Circles Dies and cut ten 1 1/4 inches red circles from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Papers. Moving along, I adhered the circles to the card base with SNAIL adhesive.
Secondly, I cut a piece of Shimmery White cardstock to 2 3/4 x 3 7/8 inches. Next, I stamped the snowman and sentiment from the Let It Snow Suite with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the Shimmery White Cardstock layer. Then, I colored the image using a blender pen and ink from three pads: Real Red, Pool Party and Pacific Point. Also, I stamped the snowflake image from the Let It Snow Suite with Pool Party ink onto the Shimmery White Cardstock layer. Afterwards, I tied Real Red 1/8 inch Curly Ribbon, from the Let It Snow Suite, around the layer. In addition, I added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the snow images. Finally, I adhered the layer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thirdly, I stamped a sentiment from the Let It Snow Suite with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 5 1/4 x 4 inches layer of Shimmery White cardstock. Then, I stamped the snowflake image with Pool Party Ink randomly over the layer. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
In conclusion, I really enjoyed playing with the Let It Snow Suite.
