Today, I’d like to share the Let It Snow Suite #2 with you. And, the Suite can be found in the SU! Holiday Catalog. Also, this is one of the cards recently made at my Holiday Coffee & Cards Class.
First, I made a card base using a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 11 inches, scored at 5 1/2 inches. Then, I adhered a layer of Let It Snow Specialty DSP ( 4 x 5 1/4 inches) to the card base using SNAIL adhesive. Next, I made a 2 x 5 1/2 inch banner using a coordinating piece of Let It Snow Specialty DSP and the Banner Triple Punch. Also, I cut a 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches rectangle of Real Red cardstock using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Afterwards, I adhered all layers to the card with SNAIL adhesive.
Second, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock circle measuring 2 7/8 inches by using the Stitched Shapes Dies. Then, I stamped the snowman image from the Let It Snow Suite with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Next, I punched out the Snowman using the Snowman Builder Punch. Afterwards, I decorated the Snowman with the embellishment kit (from the Let It Snow Suite #2) and adhered the gloves, scarf and hat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (other pieces are self adhesive) Note: I cut down the size of the self-adhesive nose using Paper Snips. Moving along, I adhered the Snowman to the Stitched Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and secured to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Third, I placed a 1 3/4 inch piece of Washi tape (from the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit) to the bottom of the circle. Then, I randomly placed the felt snowballs around the Snowman and secured with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Fourth, I stamped a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Next, I cut a 1 3/4 inches oval around the sentiment using the Layering Ovals Dies. Then, I adhered the oval to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fifth, I stamped a sentiment from the Let It Snow Suite with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Next, I stamped snowflakes around the sentiment with Coastal Cabana ink. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
The Let It Snow Suite #2 can be found in my online store. I hope you enjoy playing with it!
