I used another of the items found in the Flowers for Every Season Suite-Jar of Flowers Bundle.
Celebrate Sunflowers and Jars of Flowers are the two bundles found in the Flowers for Every Season Suite. Well, I shared the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle on my last post. So, today, I’ll share the Jar of Flowers Bundle with you. And, this set can be found in the new SU! Annual Catalog and my online store.
Also, I participated with the Cardz 4 Galz Design team by making a card requiring more than one score. (fold) Thus, I used the Side Fold Trifold card instructions (found on SplitCoastStampers) to make a card.Recipe–
First, I scored an 8 1/2 x 11 inches piece of Moonlight Mist cardstock: on the 11 inches side, I scored at 5 1/2 inches and on the 8 1/2 inches side, I scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then, I removed the upper right section. Next, on the side flap piece, I removed 1/4 inches from the end and both sides.
Then, I used the 5 x 3 3/4 inches die from the Stitched Rectangle set and cut Just Jade cardstock. ( x 3 ) Next, using the 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches die from the same set, I cut Flowers for Every Season 6 x 6 inches DSP. (x 3) Afterwards, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere these together and onto the card. (SNAIL will retire and be replaced with Stampin’ Seal adhesive)
Next, I used the 2 3/4 x 4 inches rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies set to cut Fluid Watercolor 100 Paper. ( x 4) On one piece of this paper, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped the jar with flowers. (x 2) (You’ll need to do a little masking of flowers to stamp the jar under it ) On another piece of the same paper, I stamped just the flowers. And, for the last piece of watercolor paper, I stamped just the jar. Afterwards, I used my Stampin Blends to color the images from the Jars of Flowers Bundle: Seaside Spray, Crumb Cake, Call Me Clover and Cajun Craze Combos. ( still waiting to get the new In Color Stampin’ Blends) And, I added Wink of Stella to some of the flowers. Then, I used my Paper Snips to trim the flowers from one piece of watercolor paper.
Afterward, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the cut flowers to the jar/flower image. Then, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to mount this layer to the card front. Next, I tied a Linen Thread bow and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Using the same ink, I stamped a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings onto the watercolor paper. Then, I punched out around the sentiment with a non-SU! punch. (3/4 inch circle) Afterwards, I punched a mat of Moonlight Mist cardstock for the sentiment using a non-SU! punch. (1-inch) Using SNAIL adhesive, I adhered them together. Thus, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the matted sentiment to the card front. Finally, I added three Rhinestones from the Holiday Jewels set to the card front.
Behind the card front, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the blank scalloped rectangle made from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Across from it, I repeated the process with the floral image. Then, I added the rectangle with just the jar to the back panel. Afterwards, I used Tuxedo Memento Black ink and stamped a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings on the watercolor paper. Next, I cut it out with the 1 3/4 x 3/4 inch rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly die set. And, I adhered it above the jar with Stampin. Dimensionals. Finally, I added two Rhinestones to the diecut.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my card made with the Jars of Flowers Bundle!
