Today, I am showing how to make a shaker card using the darling Honey Bee Bundle.
To begin this card, I made a base with 11 x 4 1/4 inches of Basic Black cardstock, scored at 5 1/2 inches. Then, I used the largest Stitched Rectangle die (5 1/4 x 3 7/8 inches) with Golden Honey Specialty DSP (SAB Catalog ) to create another layer. Next, I used the Detailed Bee Dies from the Honey Bee Bundle and cut a window out of the DSP. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to add a 5 1/4 x 4 inches Window Sheet layer behind it.
Next, I used Foam Adhesive Strips around the opening and all sides of the window sheet. Then, I added golden sequins (non SU! item) in the window area. Afterwards, I added a layer of Golden Honey Specialty DSP to secure the sequins in the cut window and cover the Foam Adhesive Strips.
Moving along, I stamped a sentiment from Happy Birthday to You (SAB Catalog) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a layer of Whisper White cardstock, cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die. (5 1/4 x 3 7/8 inches) Afterwards, I added the layer to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive. To complete the inside of the card, I cut a large bee using the Detailed Bees Dies and Gold Foil. Thus, I adhered the bee below the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To complete the front of the card, I cut a Bee and Honeycomb Image from Gold Foil using the Detailed Bees Dies from the Honey Bee Bundle. Then, I adhered these to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, I stamped a greeting from the Happy Birthday to You (SAB) set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Finally, I used the Stitched Shapes Circle Die to cut a circle around the sentiment and secured it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed the shaker card made with the SAB Honey Bee Bundle. It will be available till June 30th, while supplies last.
