Here’s A Card and Pressed Petals

Leslie Larkin · July 19, 2019 · 1 Comment

Today, I’m sharing a card made with Here’s A Card and Pressed Petals Specialty DSP.  Too, I added the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape to the card.  The card was inspired by prettypapercards on Pinterest.  And, all supplies can be purchased thru my online store.  Don’t forget about Bonus Days during the month of July.

SU! Bonus Days

Recipe–

To begin, I scored a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch piece of Merry Merlot cardstock at 4 1/4 inches.  Next, I used the Stitched Rectangles die and cut a frame from Merry Merlot cardstock.  (5 x 3 6/8 inches)  Then, I adhered the frame to a smaller piece of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP using SNAIL adhesive.  Finally, I mounted the frame to the card with SNAIL adhesive.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Here’s A Card stamp set with Merry Merlot ink onto a 3 x 3/4 inches piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Then, I adhered the layer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Afterwards, using the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape, I made a small flower.  I shortened my petals by cutting the bottom with Paper Snips.  Next, I layered the petals in a circle to resemble a flower and placed them on the sentiment layer.  Then, I added a Gold Faceted Gem to the center of the flower.

Finally, I used the Leaf Punch and Merry Merlot cardstock to make a leaf.  Next, I adhered the leaf to a layer of 5 x 4 1/4 inch piece of Vary Vanilla cardstock.  Then, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
