This Birthday card made with the Hello Cupcake stamp set and dies is dripping with Sweetness! The stamp set was found in the first SAB catalog, is available with a $50 order, and will be available till March 31st. Next, the coordinating dies were released on March 1st, as a SAB Coordination Special, and will be available for purchase till March 31st, too. Both items can be ordered thru my online store.
I started this card by making the background for the card front. Using Shimmery White cardstock, Shimmery Embossing Paste, Palette Knives, Melon Mambo ink refill and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, I created a sparkly pattern. First, I mixed the paste with a few drops from the Melon Mambo ink refill bottle. Next, I spread a thin layer of paste with the palette knife over the die heart images, which was lightly adhered to my cardstock with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Then, after a few minutes, I removed and washed the die with warm, soapy water.
Secondly, I wrapped a piece of Silver & White Twine around the embossed card layer and secured in the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Afterwards, I added a bow to the middle of the card and secured with a Mini Glue Dot.
Thirdly, I stamped the cupcake images onto Shimmery White cardstock with 3 different inks. Basic Gray ink was used for the cupcake wrapper, So Saffron ink was used for the cupcake body and Powder Pink ink was used for the cupcake icing (I cut two of these). Then, I die cut the pieces using the Call Me Cupcake Framelits Dies, which were released on March 1st. Next, I adhered the cupcake wrapper and body with SNAIL adhesive to the upper left side of the embossed cardstock. I adhered the Cupcake Icing pieces with Stampin’ Dimensionals above the cupcake body.
Fourthly, I stamped the Sentiment from the Hello Cupcake stamp set onto Shimmery White cardstock using Basic Gray ink. I punched out the sentiment with the 1 3/4- inch circle punch. Next, I punched out a 2- inch circle of Basic Gray cardstock and layered the sentiment on top of it by adhering with SNAIL adhesive. Then, I secured this layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the bottom right side of the card front.
To finish the card front, I added yellow bling from The Share what You Love Pearls.
Last, for the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment with my Stamparatus in Basic Gray ink onto a Shimmery White layer. Then, I stampd the sprinkles with Powder Pink ink randomly.
