Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and Playing with Patterns DSP.
Also, I decided to play along with the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday sketch challenge.
I began with a card base of Calypso Coral cardstock, measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches layer of Playing with Patterns DSP. Next, I cut another layer of coordinating DSP measuring 4 7/8 x 1 7/8 inches. Afterwards, I used Stampin’ Seal and matted it to a 2 x 5 inches layer of Calypso Coral cardstock. Thus, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the layer to the left side of the card.
Then, using my Many Marvelous Markers, I colored the large image from the Happiest of Birthdays set. (Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Purple Posy, Coastal Cabana) After huffing on the image, I used my Stamparatus and stamped on Whisper White cardstock. Then, I used the 3 x 3 7/8 inches Stitched Rectangle to cut around the sentiment. Next, I used Stampin’ Seal to mount it to a 3 1/8 x 4 inches layer of Calypso Coral cardstock. Afterwards, I used Tear and Tape adhesive and added the layer to the front of the card.
Next, I cut a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock measuring 4 x 3/8 inches. Then, I threaded the strip thru an Antiqued Slide and trimmed the end at a angle with my Paper Snips. ( Another way to use the slides can be seen here )Afterwards, I adhered the layer to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. Finally, I applied three Gold Metallic Pearls to the top right corner of the card.
For the inside, I stamped a greeting from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set with Calypso Coral ink onto a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere it inside the card. Next, I cut a 3 3/4 x 1 1/8 inches layer of Playing with Patterns DSP. Afterwards, I adhered it to a 3 7/8 x 1 1/4 inches layer of Calypso Coral cardstock. Finally, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive and added it to the lower part of card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set!
