Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack
for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop (birthdays) and Paper Craft Crew Challenge #429 (sketch)
Today, I’m sharing a favorite item from the SU! Hand-Penned Suite: Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack. You may remember me sharing more about the suite here. And, the card pack contains stickers, journaling cards and images to coordinate with the Hand-Penned Suite. Also, the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack is great to use when needing a quick card. Also, I’m hopping with a great group of ladies today so please check out their blogs shown at the end of the post.
First, I made a card base with Mint Macaron cardstock. Then, I colored a Hand-Penned Memories & More card with the Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight Combo Blends. Afterwards, I added Wink of Stella to the center of the flowers.
Next, I cut out the colored card and another coordinating one (from the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack) with the Scalloped Contours dies. Thus, I overlapped the two scalloped pieces and adhered to another layer of coordinating DSP (Hand-Penned 12 x 12″ DSP). Afterwards, I wrapped a layer of Mint Macaron Soft Velvet Ribbon around the layers and adhered all to the base of the card.
Then, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped a sentiment from the Best Year stamp set onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut out the sentiment using the Tasteful Labels Dies. Afterwards, I adhered the layer on top of the ribbon. Finally, I added two Genial Gems to the sentiment layer.
For the inside of the card-
Afterwards, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped a sentiment from the Best Year stamp set onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. Then, I used the same black ink and stamped a floral image from the Hand-Penned Suite onto the opposite corner of the layer. Next, I used Daffodil Delight ink to stamp the flowers from the set and Mint Macaron ink for the leaves. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card.
So, I hope you enjoyed seeing how to use the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack for a quick project. And, the set is located in the current SU! Annual catalog and my online store. Now, onto the Blog Hop!
