Hand-Drawn Blooms for the Cardz 4 Galz Design Team Challenge (one layer)
Today, I’m using the SU! Hand-Drawn Blooms stamp set to make a card for the Cardz 4 Galz Design Team Challenge which is “one layer.” And, I took that to mean add one layer to the card base, so that explains my design.
The Hand-Drawn Blooms set is part of a bundle and includes the Banner Blooms Dies. And, this set can be used for several different occasions. Also, it can be found in the SU! 2020 Annual Catalog and my online store.
Recipe-
To begin, I made a slimline card base using Cajun Craze cardstock. (You may remember me making this sized card here and here.) Then, I stamped the large image from the Hand-Drawn Blooms set onto Watercolor Paper. (SU! sells 5 x 7 inches Watercolor Paper and I needed larger sheets, so off to Amazon I went) Next, I stamped the sentiment onto the layer using Cajun Craze ink. Afterwards, I colored the floral image with Stampin’ Blends Combos-Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Bumblebee, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider and Seafoam Spray.
Next, I added three Champagne Rhinestones to the layer. Then, I added a bow made from Bumblebee Gingham ribbon and secured it to the card front. Afterwards, I adhered this layer to the card base.
Inside the card, I stamped three of the floral images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, I colored them with the Stampin’ Blends. Next, I used Cajun Craze to stamp a sentiment (from the Happiest of Birthdays) set on the layer. Afterwards, I added one Champagne Rhinestone to the layer. Finally, I secured the layer to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoy using the Hand-Drawn Blooms stamp set!
