Today, I chose to feature the Greatest Part of Christmas hostess stamp set, found in the Holiday catalog. And, it’s one of my favorites, due to the nine sentiments found in the set. As always, the stamp set can be found in my online store.
Also, I’m on a Blog Hop with other Inkin’ Krew Team Members. Our hostess is my upline, Amy Koenders.
First, I made a card base with 4 1/4 x 8 inches piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock , scored at 2 3/4 inches. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere 2 1/2 x 4 inches piece of the Night Before Christmas 6 x 6 inches DSP (Santa’s Hats) to the short side of the card base. Next, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere 5 1/4 x 4 inches piece of coordinating Night Before Christmas 6 x 6 DSP (Striped) to the longer side of the card.
Second, I stamped a sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set using Poppy Parade ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Then, I used the Stitched Shapes dies and cut 2 3/8 inches circle around the sentiment. Next, I made a mat for the sentiment by cutting 2 1/2 inches circle of Pretty Peacock cardstock with the Layering Circles dies. After mounting them together, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere 1/2 of the circle to the short side of the card.
Third, I used Paper Snips and cut two Santa Hats from the Night Before Christmas 6 x 6 DSP. Next, I added Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the ends of the hat and set using a Heat Tool. Afterwards, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere one hat below the sentiment. Then, I added two Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels on both sides of the Santa hat.
Fourth, I stamped a sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set using Poppy Parade ink on 2 1/2 x 4 inches piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Next, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere this layer to the inside of the card. (short side) Finally, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add a Santa Hat to the inside layer.
I hope you enjoy stamping with the Hostess stamp set, Greatest Part of Christmas! Be sure to visit the other blogs of my Team Members.
