Today, I’m using the Dandelion Wishes Set to make a Get-Well card.
Unfortunately, the Dandelion Wishes set will not be in the new SU! catalog. But, it is available till May 3rd while supplies last. Too, it can be found in my online store or current SU! catalog. Also, I used the Dandelions Embossing Folder on this card and it will be carried over to the newest catalog. I love the detail in this embossing folder.
First, I made a card base with Basic Gray cardstock. Then, I added a layer of 6 x 6 ” Subtles DSP over the card. (So Saffron color) Next, I added a strip of 6 x 6 ” Neutrals DSP over the layer. (Basic Gray color)
Then, I used the Dandelions Embossing Folder to emboss a layer of So Saffron cardstock. Then, I used the Stitched Shapes dies to cut out the layer and coordinating mat (from Basic Gray cardstock) Thus, I added the layer to the card front.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Dandelion Wishes set with Basic Gray ink onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I used the Layering Circles dies to cut out the sentiment and coordinating mat. (From Basic Gray cardstock.) Afterwards, I added this layer to the front of the card, overlapping the embossed layer.
Finally, I added three Opal Rounds randomly to the card front.
To complete the inside of the card-
I stamped the largest floral image from the set with So Saffron ink onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. Afterwards, I adhered it to the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my get-well card made with the Dandelion Wishes set.
