Today, I’m using the stamp set, Country Home, for Christmas cards. And, I previously used this set for a Thanksgiving card, which can be found here. Also, this beautiful set, which is in the Annual catalog, can be found in my online store.
In addition, I participated in the Cardz 4 Gala Challenge #110-Get Ready for Christmas.
Recipe-
To begin, I made a card base out of 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Next, I stamped two of the floral images from the set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 layer of Whisper White cardstock. (The two images should mirror each other) Then, I colored the two images using Stampin’ Blend-Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron Combos. Afterwards, I adhered this layer to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Second, I adhered a 4 1/4 x 1 1/4 inches layer of Wrapped In Plaid DSP over the two images and adhered it with SNAIL adhesive.
Third, I stamped a sentiment from the Country Home set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Next, I colored the sentiment using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blends/Dark. Then, I used the Stitched Shapes dies and cut a 2 3/4 x 1 7/8 inches oval around the sentiment. Afterwards, I adhered the oval over the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Fourth, I randomly placed three Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the card front.
Fifth, using the Country Home for Christmas cards, I stamped a sentiment and floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto 4 x 5 1/4 inches of Whisper White cardstock. Next, I colored the images with Stampin’ Blends-Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron Combos. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
I have enjoyed using the stamp set, Country Home, for Christmas cards and hope you will, also.
