Come Sail Away Suite

Leslie Larkin · July 9, 2019 · 7 Comments

I’ll be sharing the SU! Come Sail Away Suite today with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue accents.

Summer & Sailing Home

I’m participating in Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop which Amy Koenders (one of my upline leaders) is hosting.  Celebrate Summer is our topic, so using the Come Sail Away Suite was an easy choice.

AMy's Inkin' Krew Team Blog HopRecipe–

I began by taking an 11 x 4 1/4-inch  piece of Night of Navy cardstock and scoring it at 5 1/2 inches.  Then, I added a 4 x 5 1/4-inch layer of Balmy Blue cardstock to the base and secured with SNAIL adhesive.  Afterwards, I cut a wavy-looking card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack to 4 x 5 1/4-inches and secured to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Following, I cut a sentiment card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack to 3 x 4 inches and wrapped a layer of Baker’s Twine around it.  Then, I secured it at the back of the card with Tear and Tape Adhesive and tied a Sail Away Trinket at the top.  Finally, I secured the layer to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.

Afterwards, I stamped a compass and anchor from the Come Sail Away Suite in Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  Then, I stamped 3 boats from the Come Sail Away Suite in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  Next, I cut all images with the Smooth Sailing  Dies and adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimenstionals.

Moving forward, I colored four Basic Pearls with the Night of Navy Dark Stampin Blend and placed randomly over the card front.

Finally,  I secured a 4 x 5 1/4-inch layer of Balmy Blue cardstock to the inside of the card with SNAIL adhesive.  Then, I adhered one of the boat images in the lower right-hand corner.

I love this card! Great job, the wavy white piece came from the Come sail away memories and more pack?
