I’m sharing By the Dock stamp set with you today. And, I’m playing with the Fusion Card, Double Trouble and Color My Heart Color Dare challenges…
Also, the By the Dock stamp set can be found in the SU! 2020 Annual Catalog and my online store. Too, it has a coordinating set of Dockside dies that can be used with it.
Recipe-
To begin, I made a card base with a 9 x 8 inches piece of Night of Navy cardstock, scored at 4 inches. (Also, you may remember me making this size card here). Then, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive to adhere two 3 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches layers of Crumb Cake DSP together. Next, I threaded four random beads on Linen Thread and wrapped it around the Crumb Cake DSP layer. Afterwards, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive and adhered the card layer to the card front.
Next, I used the Old World Paper Embossing Folder with a 3 x 3 3/4 inches layer of Night of Navy cardstock. Then, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to ahere the layer to the left side of the card front.
Moving forward, I cut Night of Navy DSP into two strips of 1 1/2 x 6 inches. Next, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive to adhere them together. Then, I used the Banner Triple Punch on one end of the DSP. Afterwards, I adhered the layer to the cardfront with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. Also, I stamped a sentiment from the By the Dock stamp set with Night of Navy ink on the right lower corner of the card.
Then, I stamped the boat and dock images from the By the Dock stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Also, I used a masking technique and stamped the paddles with the black ink onto the watercolor paper. Next, I used my Stampin’ Blends to color the images-Real Red, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy combos. Afterwards, I used the 2 1/2 inch circle from the Stitched Shapes die set to cut around the images. Finally, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the three circles to the card front.
To complete the inside, I stamped the boat image with the black ink onto a 8 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches layer of watercolor paper. Then, I used my Stampin’ Blends to color the image-Night of Navy and Crumb Cake Combos. Next, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the layer inside the card. Finally, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive to adhere a 2 x 3 3/4 inches layer of Night of Navy DSP to the left side of the card.
I hope you enjoyed my red, white and blue card made with the By the Dock stamp set.
