Today, I made a wish-for-happiness card using By the Bay stamp set, which can be found in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. It will be available till March 31st and can be redeemed with a $50 purchase.
First, I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and scored it for the card base.
Second, I stamped the image onto the card base using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I stamped the sentiment in the lower right-hand corner with the same ink. I left the inside of the card blank.
Third, I colored the image using the Watercolor Pencils. Since this was a color challenge, I used specific pencils-Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point. Next, I colored the image with a Blender Pen. Then, I added some glitter to the windows, doors and waves with the Wink of Stella brush.
Fourth, I colored two Basic Pearls with the Dark Black Stampin’ Blend and adhered one on each side of the sentiment.
Finally, I embossed the front of the card with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
