I’m showing a card that was made with the Butterfly Gala stamp set and Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. Both items can be found in the Occasions 2019 catalog.
To begin, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock in two pieces while holding in portrait mode. Then, I scored the cardstock at the 5 ½ inch mark. Next, I removed 2 ½ 1nches from one flap, which became the front of the card.
Secondly, I used the Layering Squares Framelits and die cut a small square from Whisper White cardstock. I cut the coordinating scalloped square from Highland Heather cardstock.
Thirdly, I stamped the butterfly and wings from the Butterfly Gala stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the small piece of Whisper White cardstock. I finished by stamping the body of the butterfly in Highland Heather ink. I layered the stamped piece of Whisper White cardstock to the Highland Heather scalloped square. Two Basic Jewel Pearls were placed in the center of the Butterfly.
Fourthly, I used the Stamparatus and stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto lower back flap of card. Next, l adhered the Butterfly element (SAB 1st Release Catalog) using a Fine-Tip Glue Pen and placed it to the right of the sentiment.
Last, I added a piece of Highland Heather Gingham to the upper layer of card and layered the upper part of scalloped square piece onto it. I was careful to only put SNAIL adhesive on the top of this piece, so the card could be opened.
