Blossoms In Bloom Bundle

Fab Friday #189 (sketch)

BlossomsIn Bloom Bundle

The Blossoms in Bloom Bundle is one of the sets in the new SU! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  And, it is already one of my favorites. Also, the dies can be used together, separately or with the stamped images.  As always, it can be found in my online store after June 3rd.

For the Cardz 4 Galz challenge, we were to use our closet for inspiration and make a card.  And, for those that know me, I wear alot of Red, White & Black colors. (G0 Dawgs!)  Therefore, I chose to use these colors on my card. (and, I used them on this card)  Also, Fab Friday had a great sketch, which I enjoyed using with the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.

Recipe for Blossoms in Bloom Bundle Card-

First, I made a card base using 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches of Shimmery White cardstock, scored at 4 1/8 inches.  Then, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere it to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches layer of Real Red cardstock.  Next, I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder on 5 1/4 x 4 1/8 inches of Shimmery White cardstock.  Afterwards, I adhered this layer to the card front using Tear & Tape adhesive.  Also, I used the 3 3/8 x 4 3/4 inches Stitched Rectangle to cut a layer of Shimmery White cardstock.  Thus, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere this layer to the center of the card.

Second, using the dies found in the Blossoms in Blooms bundle, I cut the images from Real Red (main part) and Basic Black cardstocks (outline).  Next, using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, I adhered the two die cuts together.  Then, I used the same adhesive to adhere them to the card front.

Third, I cut a 3 /4 x 2 1/2 strip from Shimmery White cardstock.  Then, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped a sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle onto the strip.  Next, I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to cut one end of the strip. Afterwards, I used a Mini Glue Dot to adhere a strip of Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon behind the sentiment layer.  Thus, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layer to the lower part of the card.  Finally, I added three Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front.

Fourth, I adhered the small flowers and outlines together with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Finally, I used the same adhesive and adhered them inside the card.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the new Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.

Fun bold color choice! I like the large die cut in lieu of the large rectange of the sketch! Great interpretation! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
