I’m sharing a card made with the SU! new Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite.
For the Festive Friday challenge, I had to pick 3 items off the inspo list and use them on my project. I used plants, green, die cut and flowers.
Also, for the Use Your Stuff Challenge, I had to use a stencil on my project. So, I used a Paper Lattice as my stencil.
Yes, it was a “given” that I’d be ordering this suite due to my love of plants and flowers! One can never have too many of either. Too, the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite can be found in the new SU! 2021-22 Annual Catalog and my online store. It has lots of possibilities and is fun to play with!
To begin, I taped a Paper Lattice to a layer of Sahara Sand cardstock. (old Washi Tape is great for taping!) Then, I added a drop of Garden Green ink refill to a small amount of Matte finish Embossing Paste. Thus, I used the Palette Knives and applied a thin layer of paste over one edge of the Paper Lattice. And, it’s been awhile since I played with the embossing paste as you can see here and here. Afterwards, I placed the layer aside to dry.
Next, I used three different colored inks and stamped the images from the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. (Calypso Coral, Early Espresso and Garden Green inks) Then, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images. Afterwards, I added them to the stenciled panel.
Then, I used Early Espresso ink and stamped a sentiment from the Suite onto the stenciled layer. Finally, I adhered the layer to the front of the card.
Completing the inside of the card made with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite-
Also, I used Early Espresso ink and stamped a coordinating sentiment onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. Then, I added extra pre-cut images to the corner of the layer. Finally, I adhered the layer to the inside of the card.
Isn’t this a wonderful suite? I hope you will enjoy it!
