…for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop.
Today, I am celebrating a Happy Birthday with the Peaceful Moments Bundle for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. Several of my team members and I are sharing birthday cards on our blogs, so hop along for more inspiration.
Recipe–
To begin this card, I made a card base with 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches of Pool Party cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then, I cut a 3 1/2 x 5 inches layer of the beautiful Peaceful Poppies DSP and adhered it to the card base with SNAIL adhesive. ( You may recall I used this DSP here.)
Then, I cut several floral/leaf images using the Poppy Moments Dies and Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo and Flirty Flamingo cardstocks. Too, I kept the extra cut images to use on the inside of the card. Afterwards, I assembled the largest flower with Calypso Coral, Basic Black and Flirty Flamingo cardstock die cuts and adhered them together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, I made the two leaves with Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cardstock die cuts, adhered them together and on the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then, I adhered the flower over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Bundle with Poppy Parade ink onto Whisper white cardstock. Then, using the Painted Labels Dies, I cut a border around the sentiment and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Afterwards, I tied a bow using the Polka-Dot Toile Ribbon and adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.
To continue sharing a Happy Birthday with the Peaceful Moments Bundle, I stamped a sentiment with Poppy Parade ink onto a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I adhered extra floral/leaf die cuts to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and used Paper Snips to clean up the edge of the card layer. Finally, I adhered this layer to the inside of the card and adhered with SNAIL adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I celebrated a Birthday with the Peaceful Moments Bundle. The set contains 10 different sentiments and can be used for several events. Too, the set can be found in the Spring Mini Catalog and my online store. As a reminder, I’ve listed the other participants of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop and hope you can visit each one.
