Today, I am celebrating a birthday with Bloom & Grow stamp set. This is one of the new SU! stamp sets and can be used for several occasions.
To begin, I took a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch sheet of Soft Suede cardstock and scored it at 4 1/4-inches to make my card base. Then, I took a 2 x 5 1/2-inch piece of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP and ahered it to the card with SNAIL adhesive. (1/2-inch from card fold)
Next, I took a different patterned piece of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP and cut to 2 1/2 x 4 1/2-inches. Then, I placed one end of the DSP into the Scallop Tag Topper and cut a tag. Following, I tied a bow into the center of the tag with Braided Linen Trim. Moving on, I secured this layer into the center of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
Afterwards, I stamped an image from the Bloom & Grow stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Following, I cut the image out with the Budding Blooms Dies. Hence, I colored the image from the Bloom & Grow stamp set with the Stampin’ Blends-Rococo Rose, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow Combos. Then, I added Wink of Stella to the inside of the flowers and secured the piece to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Moving along, I frayed a 2-inch piece of Magnolia Lane Ribbon and secured to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, I stamped a greeting from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2 x 3/4-inch piece of Rococo Rose cardstock. Using my Paper Snips, I cut one end of the cardstock into a banner and secured it above the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, I stamped the same floral image from the Bloom & Grow stamp set in Rococo Rose ink onto a piece of 4 x 5 1/4-inch Very Vanilla cardstock. Afterwards, I stamped a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set onto this layer with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
