I’m using the Birds & Branches Bundle for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch and Double “D” Challenges.
And, the SU! Birds & Branches Bundle can be found in the new SU! 2020 Annual Catalog and my online store. Also, this bundle contains a set of 19 Photopolymer stamps and sixteen coordinating dies. Too, it can be used for several different occasions.
For the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (376), we were to use this sketch as our guide.
And, for the Double “D” Challenges, we were to include stitching and use this picture as inspiration.
I began this card by making a card base from 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches of Smokey Slate cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Next, I embossed a layer of Smokey Slate cardstock with the 3D Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Then, I used the 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches die from the Stitched Rectangles set to cut a layer of Smokey Slate cardstock. And, I used the 3 x 4 1/4 inches die from the same set to cut a layer of Smokey Slate DSP (from the Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP pack). Too, I used the 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches die from the same set to cut a layer of In Good Taste DSP. Afterwards, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the three stitched layers together.
Second, I wrapped Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the stitched layers. Too, I adhered a bow to the layer with Mini Glue Dots. Then, using the Birds & Branches Bundle, I cut the limb/leaves image from Old Olive cardstock. Next, I used the Fine-Tip Glue pen and adhered them to the card front.
Third, I cut a 2 3/4 inches layer from Smokey Slate cardstock with the Stitched Circles dies. Then, I stamped a sentiment from the “Here’s A Card” stamp set with Basic Gray ink onto the circle. Next, I cut the circular floral image from the Birds & Branches Bundle from Basic Gray cardstock. Afterwards, I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the diecut to the stitched circle. Thus, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive to adhere the circle to the card front.
Fourth, I used Bumblebee and Basic Gray inks to two-step stamp the bird images onto Whisper White cardstock. Then, I used the dies from the Birds & Branches Bundle to cut the birds out. Next, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the birds inside the stitched circle layer.
Afterwards, I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and highlighted the bird’s eye.
Finally, I added three In Color Dots to the front of the card.
Finishing the inside of the Card-
For the inside of the card, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I stamped the bird with Bumblebee and Basic Gray inks onto the lower right corner of the card. Next, I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaf/limbs to the same corner. Finally, I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and highlighted the bird’s eye.
I enjoyed making this card with the Birds & Branches Bundle.
Remember, I’m taking sign-ups for the 2020 Mini/Holiday Catalog Product Shares.
