…for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop and Try Stampin’ on Tuesday challenges.
Today, I am sharing a card made with the Beautiful World Bundle, which is in the new SU! Annual 2020-2021 Catalog. Also, the bundle can be found in my online store. And, the Beautiful World Bundle is part of the World of Good Suite.
I’m participating in Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop with a Birthday themed card. (You may remember the last blog hop here.) And, I decided to use the sketch challenge from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday (#460).
Also, I’ve listed my retirement items for sale here and the list can be found in the blog header.
Recipe-
To begin, I made a card base with 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches of Early Espresso cardstock, scored at 4 1/4 inches. Then, using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, I cut a 5 x 3 1/2 shape from Cinnamon Cider and Crumb Cake cardstocks. Next, I used the same dies to cut a 4 1/2 x 3 3/8 shape from World of Good DSP (scripty looking piece). Afterwards, I cut (2) of the 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 rectangle from a coordinating piece of DSP (old maps piece).
Second, I used Stampin’ Seal adhesive to adhere the cut DSP to the Cinnamon Cider layer. Then, I wrapped Faux Suede Trim (Early Espresso) around the layers. And, I tied a piece of ribbon thru an Antiqued Slide and adhered it on the card with a Mini Glue Dot. Thus, I adhered the layers to the card front with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. Next, I used the same adhesive to attach the two identical rectangles together. Afterwards, they were arranged to make a border and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Seal adhesive.
Thirdly, I used the circle punch and punched (3) 1 1/2-inch circles from Cinnamon Cider cardstock. Then, I used Early Espresso ink to stamp three of the inkwells on Whisper White cardstock. Next, I repeated the step for the Quill image and used Crumb Cake ink on Whisper White cardstock. Afterwards, I used the dies from the Beautiful World Bundle and cut each item out. And, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the images to the precut circles. Thus, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the circles on the border layer.
Fourth, I used a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays set and Early Espresso ink to stamp on the card front. Then, I applied three In Color Enamel Dots beside the sentiment.
Finally, I stamped another sentiment with Early Espresso ink onto the precut Crumb Cake cardstock layer. Then, I used Crumb Cake ink to lightly stamp a Quill image over the sentiment.
I can see the Beautiful World Bundle being used for many different occasions. It’s a Keeper!
