For Try Stampin’ -or not- on Tuesday (a sketch) and
Use Your Stuff (flowers and/or butterflies) Challenges.
I used the TSOT 456 sketch and #397 Flowers & Butterflies picture to make a card with Beautiful Friendship. I had fun with the folds in this card. Also, it can be found in the current SU! annual catalog and my online store. And, I’m thankful it will be in the new catalog.
Also, the new catalogs have arrived and are being packed to mail. Too, don’t forget to sign-up for my SU! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog Product Share. (184 sheets of Design Specialty Paper and 50 yards of Ribbons) Shares are limited.
Recipe for Beautiful Friendship Card-
First, I made a card base using 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches of Rococo Rose cardstock. Then, I made another layer with 6 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches of Crumb Cake cardstock. (scored at 2 1/2 inches) Next, I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to secure the Crumb Cake larger layer to the base. Afterwards, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 inches layer of In Color 2019-2021 6 X 6 inches DSP to this layer. (Rococo Rose Check). (You may remember me using this DSP here and here.) Afterwards, I used SNAIL adhesive and adhered a 2 1/4 x 5 inches layer of coordinating DSP (Rococo Rose Script) on the inside flap. To complete the base, I adhered a 2 1/2 x 5 inches layer of coordinating DSP (Rococo Rose Script) to the front flap of the Beautiful Friendship Card.
Second, using Pear Pizzazz, Rococo Rose and Crumb Cake inks, I stamped the Beautiful Friendship images onto a 2 1/4 x 3 1/8 inches layer of Whisper White cardstock. Then, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere the layer to a 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Next, I made an additional layer with a 6 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches piece of Rococo Rose cardstock. (scored at 2 3/4 inches) Afterwards, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to secure the long side of this layer inside the card. To complete this step, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere the matted stamped image to the short side of this piece. (outside front layer)
Third, I made a smaller card using 5 x 2 inches of Whisper White cardstock. (scored at 2 1/2 inches) Then, using the Pear Pizzazz, Rococo Rose and Crumb Cake inks, I stamped on the outside layer of the smaller card. Next, using Crumb Cake ink, I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set on the inside of the card. Also, I used the Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped the leave image on the corner of this layer. Afterwards, I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the smaller card to a 2 1/4 x 2 3/4 inch mat of Crumb Cake cardstock. To complete this step, I used the Tear & Tape Adhesive to secure the matted piece to the inside of the card.
To complete this card, I used Wink of Stella and three Pearl Basic Jewels to the larger front layer. Finally, I used a Mini Glue Dot and secured a bow made from Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
I hope you enjoy the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.
