I’m sharing another Butterfly Brilliance card today which we made in our recent team meeting.
Today, I’m sharing another Butterfly Brilliance card which we made in an online training meeting held yesterday. (More details about this collection can be found here). And, one of the joys about being a SU! Demonstrator is belonging to a team. Also, I get to meet other demonstrators from all parts of the USA. Too, we have many training and stamping opportunities. (presently meeting thru Zoom) In addition, I get early released catalogs/products and a nice discount. Thus, this was one of the cards (with a few minor changes) that was demonstrated during the meeting held by my upline’s upline, Amy Koenders.
First, I made a card base using Bermuda Bay cardstock. Then, I matted a piece of Butterfly Bijou DSP to Basic Black cardstock. Afterwards, I adhered this layer to the card.
Second, I matted a layer of In Good Taste DSP to Basic Black cardstock. And, I adhered this layer to the card front.
Third, I used Bermuda Bay ink and stamped a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday Greetings set onto Basic White cardstock. Next, I used the Tasteful Labels dies to cut out the sentiment. Afterwards, I adhered this to the left side of the panel.
Fourth, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped the butterfly images onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I used the Brilliant Wings dies to cut out the butterflies. Thus, I used the Watercolor Pencils with a Blender Pen to color the butterflies. (You could color the images with Stampin’ Blends, too). Afterwards, I adhered the large butterfly to the right side of the panel.
Fifth, I added three Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to the panel.
Finally, I adhered one of the smaller butterflies to a panel of Basic White cardstock. Afterwards, I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
Thus, I really enjoy our stamping time during the training meetings. And, I hope you enjoyed seeing another Butterfly Brilliance card. Too, the Butterfly Brilliance Collection will be available thru my online store till May 3rd.
