…for Cardz 4 Galz Design Team, Try Stampin’-or not-On Tuesday and Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenges.
Thank you for visiting my site as I show another Bonanza Buddies Bundle project. You may remember me sharing this bundle before. And, the set is still available in the SU! Mini Occasions Catalog and my online store. Too, this adorable 22-piece stamp set with ten coordinating dies can be used for several occasions. Also, I participated in three different challenges while making another Bonanza Buddies Bundle project: Cardz 4 Galz Design Team, (kites) Try Stampin’-or not-On Tuesday (TSOT 451) and Hand Stamped Sentiments (HSSCC336).
First, I had some 6 x 6 envelopes to use, so I decided to make a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches card. To begin another Bonanza Buddies Bundle card, I cut 5 1/2 x 11 inches of Daffodil Delight cardstock and scored at 5 1/2 inches. Then, I used the new Ornate Dies and added a scalloped border to 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches of Birthday Bonanza DSP. And, I secured the DSP to the card front with SNAIL adhesive. Next, using the Stitched Rectangles dies, I cut two coordinating rectangles from the DSP-2 1/2 x 4 inches and 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. Afterwards, I adhered the two stitched rectangles to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Next, using the Bonanza Dies, I cut two banners from Grapefruit Grove cardstock. Then, I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere them on the card front. Afterwards, I wrapped Grapefruit Grove Twine (from Nature’s Twine set) around the card twice and tied a bow to secure it.
Then, I used the Stitched Shapes Dies and cut a 3-inch circle from Whisper White cardstock. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the lower part of the circle. Afterwards, I secured the circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Moving along, I stamped the Koala with Smokey Slate ink, the Lion body with Daffodil Delight ink and the Lion mane/ tail with Mango Melody ink onto Whisper White cardstock. And, I stamped the facial features of both animals with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, I cut the animals from the cardstock using the Bonanza dies. Afterwards, I adhered the assembled animals to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Since I needed a kite for one of the challenges and did not have one, I decided to make my own. (do you remember doing this as a child?) So, I cut (two) 3/4 x 3/4-inch squares from the Birthday Bonanza DSP. Then, I creased it down two corners, to make triangles. After unfolding it, I folded the bottom pieces into the center and secured with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and drew lines to connect the points on the kite. Afterwards, I attached Black Wire (non-SU!) to the back of the kite with Mini Glue Dots. To complete the kites, I threaded the wire behind the Koala’s hand.
Moving forward, I added three Champagne Rhinestones randomly to the card front.
To complete the card, I cut two rectangles with the Stitched Rectangles dies- 3 x 4 1/4 inches of Whisper White cardstock and 3 3/4 x 5 inches of DSP. Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the Whisper White layer. Next, I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere the layers inside the card. Afterwards, I stamped the bird from the Bonanaza Buddies stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black and Daffodil Delight inks onto Whisper White cardstock. Moving along, I used the dies to cut out the bird and adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, I added three Champagne Rhinestone dies randomly around the bird.
I hope you enjoyed seeing another Bonanza Buddies Bundle card. And, I hope rubber stamping is a positive distraction for you during this time. Please don’t forget to share your cards with others!
